OEM-Specific Background App Killers

Different Android manufacturers (OEMs) handle sideloaded applications differently. Here is how to whitelist the app so it stops crashing:
Xiaomi, POCO, Redmi (MIUI / HyperOS)
Xiaomi has the most aggressive battery saver in the market. They will kill background network sockets within 5 seconds. To fix crashes:
- Go to Settings > Apps > Manage Apps, find the app, and set Battery Saver to No Restrictions.
- Turn on AutoStart permission.
Samsung Galaxy (OneUI)

Huawei (HarmonyOS / EMUI)
Huawei devices run without Google Mobile Services (GMS), meaning push notifications and background sockets are handled strictly by the OS.
- Go to Settings > Battery > App Launch. Turn off "Manage Automatically" for the app, and manually enable Auto-launch, Secondary launch, and Run in background.
